I'm here to help students develop their reading, writing, grammar, literature, English, and poetry writing skills. I'm also available to assist students with essay editing, and to look over college essays for applications. I have had the privilege of teaching students for over eight years now. It is very rewarding to witness the students I work with transform into independent, strong learners. I know that all of my students can succeed, and it's amazing watching them do so. As an educator I work to foster an environment in which students feel comfortable enough to engage and express themselves. I try to make all of my tutoring sessions fun and creative. I incorporate a lot of poetry into my teaching. I've found that poetry is a great tool for getting students to open up and explore new and different perspectives from their own. I think I have instilled many of my students with a lifelong passion for poetry! When I am not tutoring I enjoy playing musical instruments, watching old films, reading, and writing poetry. I actually have two poetry books of my own that have been published. I was recognized for one of them with the State of Florida Award.
