In 2011, I was the recipient of a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. It was at that same institution where I earned a master's degree in 2014. I researched Nuclear Physics heavily, and my thesis topic was directly related to this research. Now, I am working towards my doctorate in Physics, also at the University of Massachusetts. Before all of my time at U-Mass, I obtained an associate degree in Engineering at Quinsigamond Community College. While I studied at Quinsigamond, I performed as a tutor to my peers in the math center. In this role, I was exposed to many different types of students, whose backgrounds and levels of education varied. I have actually taught, not just tutored, Physics to undergraduate students at my university for many years. I also teach the subject at Daniel Webster College. Math is the subject I like to help with. I can (and have) worked with students of all levels of education. My biggest strength, though, is with the undergraduate and high school level. I aspire to give confidence to learners so that they may be successful academically.I am a volunteer with the Lowell Humane Society. Animals are a big deal in my life, so I derive a lot of happiness from this hobby. I am a foster animal-parent, as well, because sometimes it takes a little while to find these guys a home. Aside from that, I have a wide range of musical interests and like to discover new songs to cherish.
